Are you suffering from tennis elbow?
Do you want to feel what the pros feel? Do you want to play better tennis with less elbow pain? Then, our patented PermaWrist™ tennis swing wrist training aid for only $20, is for you. Our tennis wrist teaching aid is a comfortable trainer for grooving proper forehands, single and double handed backhands and volleys. It can even serve as a tennis serve training aid. |
|
Click the YouTube link to see our tennis training aid in action. It comes with a tennis elbow brace and an adjustable elastic cord that is attached to the racket throat. Suitable for both right and left handed players. The elastic cord is quickly and easily adjustable for different tennis strokes without taking the band off. |
Forehands and backhands:
The secret to the professionals’ tennis strokes is that as their arm swings forward, the wrist (therefore the racket) is laid back at 90 degrees to the arm. The following youtube videos illustrate this point clearly.

The PermaWrist™ tennis wrist teaching aid will pull the racket back to place your wrist in the proper laid back position that is so critical in generating a proper relaxed swing in both forehand and backhand.
One-handed Backhand and Tennis Elbow:
Perhaps, the stroke that causes most tennis elbow injuries in amateur tennis players is an improperly executed topspin one-handed backhand. See the study done by the United States Tennis Association by clicking here. As the above study states, often, amateur players will have their wrist flexed at the point of impact, often with a continental grip with the racket in line with the arm. By contrast, professional players have their wrist extended and well out in front with the racket at close to 90 degree angle to the arm (L position). Take a look at photos of a few professional players to the right and see how their wrist is extended and well out in front of their body. |
The PermaWrist™ tennis wrist training aid will help you achieve the proper L position at the point of impact. If you try to flex the wrist or hit the ball close to the body, the PermaWrist™ tennis training aid will let you know instantly from the increasing tension in the elastic cord.
Volleys:
Similar to forehands and backhands, the secret to the professionals’ volley strokes is that the racket is raised at an angle to the forearm (in an L position) and they maintain their L position throughout their swing. By contrast, many amateur players try to “break” or flick their wrist in trying to generate power and underspin. That is simply the wrong way to hit volleys. Proper volley strokes require maintaining the L position of the wrist throughout the swing.
The PermaWrist™ tennis wrist training aid will help you achieve the proper L position throughout the swing. If you try to flick or break the wrist, the PermaWrist™ training aid will let you know instantly from the increasing tension in the elastic cord. Watch the following two videos and observe the L position throughout the volleys.

Tennis Elbow and Golfer’s Elbow:
Improper stroke techniques/mechanics contribute significantly to tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow. By encouraging proper stroke mechanics, the PermaWrist™ tennis wrist training aid will likely reduce the chance of getting a tennis elbow type injury. To the right is a video of a well-known coach correcting an improper wristy forehand stroke of a tennis player suffering from tennis elbow. In our opinion, this is a MUST WATCH video for anyone suffering from tennis elbow. If you don't have 10 minutes, then you can start watching from about 4:30 on. |

Does This Training Aid Really Work?
Rest assured that similar tennis training devices (tennis wrist brace or tennis wrist layback device) such as Wrist Assist™ and Racket Bracket™ (Racquet Bracket) have been sold and enthusiastically endorsed by professional tennis players and coaches. See, for example, the following youtube video endorsing a similar training device by a very well-known online coach. |

Even some professional players such as Bernard Tomic practice with a similar tennis wrist brace/training aid (see left image). However, our tennis aid is simpler, and less expensive and easier to adjust for different strokes. Bernard Tomic practices with wrist support training aid
